This note describes the stages of implementation of a project. Implementation

Phase	Task
1	Filing in the prospect data form. Desk-top evaluation, pre-feasibility study, convincing the landowner, getting agreement to the feasibility study including agreement that if the investment looks attractive that the project will go ahead and under what terms.
2	Feasibility study covering; cost , power take off probability, planning probability, project profitability, the investment case; agreement with the landowner (legally binding agreement subject to the project meeting the investment criteria). Agreeing the allocation of earned loan notes and final terms with the landowner.
3	Project development covering Design and engineering Planning permission Licences External studies; fish etc Obtain ROCs and LEC Grid connection Lease with landowner Power take off agreement Operations and maintenance contract Final profitability confirmation
4	Construction Structuring the contracts Contractor tendering and letting Contract supervision, quality checking, interim payments Civil works; weir and powerhouse Hydraulic works ; channels and penstock Mechanical installation; turbine and generator Controls and electrical connections Commissioning and handover
5	Ongoing SPV Management Operations and maintenance Administration
